I'm impressed with how this turned out. The product is well made, well-priced compared to other sites, has great turnaround time compared to others without being unrealistic, has a long playing time while preserving quality, and they master the vinyl without charge, according to the website. What also impressed me is that they take care in the production, and they show it both during customization and with the final product. During customization, they let you know if a cover will turn out bad based on the submitted image size and quality, which other companies don't typically do; and when the final product arrived, they give you an archival quality record sleeve. Although there was occasional sound issues, they were rare and small enough that you can get over it if it happens to you. There's quiet background hiss, but it's already pre-established on the website since it's lathe-cut, and it's not annoying. Great product, great website, will buy again.

Creative and Fun
I enjoyed creating a vinyl LP. I recently bought a turntable and I am returning to the audio/music systems of my youth. I am dusting off my vinyl LPs from the 60s and 70s. I appreciate the process now of laying down vinyl tracks from my digital library. The dashboard of The Vinyl Mixtape Shop was user friendly, straight forward and intuitive. And the turn-around-time was very reasonable. It was fun creating a personalized album cover -front and back- using photos from my photo library. I selected photos that represented to me the theme of the recordings. This vinyl LP became memorable to me in both a visual and musical sense.
